- Avoid placing reflective surfaces near the camera lens.
🧼 Maintenance Tips
- No user-serviceable parts inside—contact support if needed.
- Power off before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid touching the lens directly.
- Clean the dome cover gently with a soft brush or cloth.

- Post clear signs if installing in public areas.
- Protect personal data (e.g., faces, license plates).
- Set up access controls and provide contact info if required.
🌐 Cybersecurity Tips
- Use strong passwords (8+ characters, mix of letters/numbers).
- Change passwords every 90 days.
- Avoid using default ports (e.g., HTTP 80, HTTPS 443).
- Don’t expose the device to the public internet unless necessary.
- Enable HTTPS and use IP filtering (allow/block lists).
- Disable UPnP if not needed.
- Check logs regularly for unauthorized access.

🌐 Network Setup
1. Wired Network Connection (LAN)
To access the IP View KP+ door station via a web browser:

- Connect the device and your PC to the same local network.
- Install and run the IP-Tool on your PC.
- Find your device using its MAC address.
- Double-click the IP address to open it in Internet Explorer.
- Activate the device by setting a strong admin password.
- Log in with the new credentials.
- Set up security questions for password recovery.
💡 Tip: Use a strong password and change it regularly.
🔐 ONVIF Access
- The ONVIF password matches the admin password by default.
- To change it, go to:
Config > Network > ONVIF
2. Wi-Fi Connection
- Connect the device to your router using a network cable.

Log in via browser, go to:
Config > Network > Wi-Fi - Enable Wi-Fi, select your router, and enter the password.
- Choose:
- “Obtain IP automatically” (not recommended)
- “Use the following IP” (recommended for stability)
- Click “Test”, then Save.
- Unplug the network cable—the device will now use Wi-Fi.
3. Remote Access (WAN)
Option A: P2P Access
- Enable P2P in:
Config > Network > P2P - Visit www.autonat.com using Internet Explorer.
- Log in using the device’s QR code and security code.
Option B: Port Forwarding
- Set ports in:
Config > Network > Port - Set IP in:
Config > Network > TCP/IP - Log into your router and forward the IP and ports.
- Access remotely using:
http://[WAN IP]:[Port]
(e.g.,http://192.168.1.201:81)
👁️ Live View via Web Browser
Once you log in to the IP View KP+ door station through your browser, you’ll see the Live View screen.

💡 Some features (like local recording) may not work in plug-in-free browsers.
⚙️ Web Configuration
Click Config in the web interface to access all settings.
1. Face Recognition Settings

- Liveness Detection: Prevents spoofing with photos or videos.

- Snapshot Interval: Set how often to capture faces (e.g., every 4 seconds).

- Save to SD card
- Send email or upload to FTP
- Trigger external alarms
🎯 Face Matching
- Similarity Threshold: Set how close a match must be to trigger an alert.
- Deduplication: Avoids repeated alerts for the same person.
- Alarm Area: Draw a detection zone on the screen.
- Face Size: Set minimum and maximum face size for detection.
2. Face Database Management
You can add faces in four ways:
- Manually: Upload a photo and enter details (name, ID, etc.).
- Batch Upload: Use a CSV file and image folder.
- Face Album Tool: Use the dedicated software.
- Live Capture: Add faces directly from live view.
🔐 You can assign access levels (e.g., visitor, resident, admin) and unlock methods (face, card, PIN, or combinations).
3. Face Match View
- View real-time face captures and match results.
- Click a face to see detailed info or add it to the database.
📞 Intercom Features
1. Calling a Resident
You can call a resident in two ways:
- Manual Dial: Press any number on the keypad, enter the room number, then press the 📞 button.
- One-Touch Call: Press the 📞 button directly (if pre-configured to a specific room).
🔧 To set up one-touch calling:
Go toConfig > Intercom, enable “Press button to call indoor station”, enter the room number, and click Save.
📌 Make sure the IP View KP+ door station is added to the indoor station first (see Appendix 1 for setup).
2. Calling the Control Platform
- Press the 📞 button to call the central platform.
- Enable this in:
Config > Intercom > Enable "Press button to call platform"
3. Calling the Mobile App
Option A: Call the Admin Account
- Press the 📞 button to call the admin’s mobile app.
- Enable this in:
Config > Intercom > Enable "Press button to call APP"
Option B: Call a Specific Resident
- Enter the room number on the keypad and press 📞.
- Admin must:
- Add the device to the app using the QR code and security code.
- Go to Buildings & Residents in the app.
- Add building and room numbers.
- Link each room to the resident’s app account.
📱 When a visitor calls, the app, indoor station, and platform will all ring. The first one to answer takes the call.
4. Contact List Setup
To allow visitors to search for residents:
- Add people to the face database with their room and floor numbers.
- Go to:
Config > Intercom > Contacts - Select a person and click Add.
Visitors can then press the * key to browse the contact list on the IP View KP+ door station.
🔓 Door Unlocking Options
1. Unlock with Super PIN Code
- Enter the code on the keypad followed by
#. - Set this code in:
Config > Access Control > Door Lock > PIN Code Setting
2. Unlock with Face Recognition
- If the unlock mode is set to Face Only, the door opens after a successful face match.
3. Unlock with Card Swipe
- If the unlock mode is Card Only, swipe a registered card to open the door.
4. Combination Unlock Modes
- Face + PIN: Face match first, then enter PIN code.
- Face + Card: Face match first, then swipe card.
- Face or Card: Either method will unlock the door.
🔧 Set these modes when adding users to the face database.
5. Unlock via Web Interface
- In the live view screen, click the 🔓 icon to open the door remotely.
6. Unlock via Mobile App
- In the app’s live view, tap the screen to reveal the unlock icon.
- Tap 🔓 to open the door.
🛡️ Access Control System Settings
1. Local Settings
Go to:Config > Access Control > Access Control System Config

🎙️ Custom Voice Prompts
- Go to the Custom Voice tab.
- Select the voice prompt you want to replace.
- Click Browse to upload your audio file.
- Click Upload and rename it if needed.
- Preview your voice prompt using the Listen button.
2. Door Lock Settings
Go to:Config > Access Control > Door Lock

| Unlocking Group | Choose who can unlock (e.g., residents, visitors) |
| Unlock Delay | Time before the door unlocks (0–10 seconds) |
| Unlock Duration | How long the door stays unlocked (0–10 seconds) |
| Lock Type | Auto / Normally Open (NO) / Normally Closed (NC) |
| Alarm Linkage | Choose what happens when an alarm is triggered |
| Schedule Settings | Set times when the door should auto-lock/unlock |
🗓️ You can set weekly or holiday-specific schedules.
3. Door Contact Settings
Go to:Config > Access Control > Door Contact Setting

| Input Type | Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) |
| Unlock Delay | Time allowed before door must close |
| Alarm Delay | Time before alarm triggers if door contact fails |
You can also enable:
- Audio Alarm
- Snapshot or Video Recording
- Email or FTP Alerts
4. Wiegand Settings
Go to:Config > Access Control > Wiegand Config

| Mode | Choose bit format (e.g., 26bit, 34bit, etc.) |
5. Tampering Alarm
Go to:Config > Access Control > Tampering Alarm Setting
- Enable this to trigger alarms if the device is tampered with.
- You can also enable audio alerts, snapshots, and email/FTP notifications.
6. Card Reader Settings
- Choose card type: EM or IC.
- For IC cards, you can enable:
- Anti-cloning
- Encryption (MI, CPU, DESFire)
🔐 You’ll need a compatible card enroller for encryption.
7. RS485 Settings
Go to:Config > Access Control > RS485
- Connect external RS485 devices like card readers or controllers.
- Choose the correct device type.
- Default settings are usually fine unless specified by the device.
8. Elevator Control (Web Relay Only)
- Add resident info (room and floor) in the face database.
- Go to:
Config > Access Control > Elevator Config - Enable elevator control and add floor settings.
- When a resident unlocks the door, the system sends a command to the elevator to allow access to their floor.
