The ETH-SP is designed to protect any Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or non PoE device with throughput speeds of up to 1Gbps.

Damaging electrostatic discharge attacks (ESD) and surges are safely discharged to ground, protecting the connected device. (Requires on-site ground bonding) 

 Must use earth, screened  data cable as one of Ubiquiti's warranty requirements.
